Million Pieces is a “breakup ballad” that tells the story of a 2 year relationship that started in honeymoon phase (“drives in your car, early mornings I wasn’t used to...”) a relationship that lasted for 2 years but fell apart “into a million pieces”. The artist reminisces about the good times “Dancing on streets, feeling the love that I wasn’t used to” towards the end of the song she reflects on how they fought to try and keep the relationship going “everytime we tried, it felt like we could make it through” but when they tried to cover over their issues - it just made things worse: “we buried our problems until they grew”. Towards the end of the song the artist wonders where the past lover is now and whether he still feels the same love or sadness about the breakup but she acknowledges that there’s no hope. “Just like that, we fall apart into a million pieces”.

Lyrics
Drives in your car, early mornings I wasn't used to
You got me up, We'd walk the mountain, talk till the time flew
You were a clean soul, but I just wanted to rock and roll
Dancing on streets, feeling the love I wasn't used to
When we would meet, sipping coffee sharing our dreams
Travelled near and far, exotic places you weren't used to
Chorus
Just like that, we fall apart into a million pieces
Fight and make up, we buried our problems until they grew
Everytime we tried, it felt like we could make it through
But we were in denial, so we tried until our worlds fell through
I still see your eyes, but I forgot what it's like to kiss you
Nights we would sleep, I'd memorize your face so it would keep.
Where are you now, I wonder do you still feel me too
Chorus
Just like that, we fall apart into a million pieces
Tiktok our time is up x8
